SATG is making to improve the live of a poor somali farmer by Poisoning the land. In 1963-72 I was work at the Afgoye Agricultural Researchi Centre i know what is the different of Organig and GM farming is.
People make wealth but we don’t only Research the benefit of outcome, but we also have to include the lost and damage which our business will course the people we are helping them eg. what will happen to the 2 accre of land wich you mension at your case study that she harvest 45 sacks in stead of 7 sack. You also mension the defferents of SATG seed 45 days and Local 90days.
Farming and Poultry are same when Chemical is added to their life. GM Poultry grow within Seven day and sold at the market. Organing Poultry take 4 Month to sale. I think your business of selling GM seeds is Xaraam, you are cheating poor farmers without telling them the future of their land after 5 Harvest.
Try to help Farmers using what Allah has given as and not what MONSATO GM.

We understand your concern and we are glad to hear that you come from research background. Here is our message. We have never introduced and have no plans to introduce GMO crops in Somalia. Most of our work is conducted using conventional approaches like the use of good agriculture practices using traditional varieties. The early maturing variety that farmer talk about is a Filsan variety that was tested and recommended to the farmers in the late 1980’s. Filsan is a manugbean variety that matures in 45 days. It’s neither a hybrid nor a GMO.
